Dani and I went there for a quick drink and dessert.
I love desserts and I’ve always found Ruby Tuesdays to have wonderful decadent desserts on their menu.

“OMIGOSH YOU’VE GOT A ROLY POLY”

Is what I said when I first saw the Quincy Roly Poly on one of my first visits here. I had one close to my original home of Arlington Heights, Illinois, but hadn’t seen another one elsewhere. Seeing that Quincy was the home to one of my favorite fast(ish) food franchises made me start to think my culinary life in Quincy might be more delightful than frightful.

Olive Restaurant

The Olive is an understated little restaurant in the downtown area of Quincy that our friend Travis, Mr. Qtown recommended we visit. So after a little Blues in the District this weekend, the three of us decided to check out the Olive, another restaurant that is new to Dan and me.

Gem City Pizzeria & Mexican

Yesterday Dani and I went out in search of our first restaurant to review for our new website.

We thought of a couple places but we finally decided on Gem City Pizzeria & Mexican.
It’s a Quincy tradition.  A very popular restaurant.  And it was a place neither of us had eaten at before.
I have had their pizza but only when other people had gotten it and only a handful of times.
